Rescued from Darkness is an inspiring conversation starter for students to prompt discussions about faith, poverty, genocide, adversity, African politics, and religious identity from a Catholic worldview.
While this film is based on the experience of a Catholic community in Uganda, it will inspire all Catholic schools to think more deeply about their own Catholic identity and also inspire non-Catholics to think more deeply about their relationship with the larger world.
We'd love to share this powerful Catholic film at your school as well as share our film team's experience in Uganda. Dan Tarrant, the director of the film from Personally Catholic, and members of the nonprofit Building a Bridge to Uganda would love to come visit with your students.
We are happy to help you show the film at your school in your auditorium, theater or meeting space.
There is no cost for our visit. Supporting our nonprofits with your donations is a welcome blessing, but our primary goal at your campus is sharing this story and building a deeper relationship with Christ, the poor and the international Catholic community.
